Dr. Grayson Riddels is a born and raised Sherman-ite! He has been working at Lange Veterinary Hospital since he was in high school. He started as a veterinary assistant, working under Dr. Lange, around 2003. Dr. Riddels’ grew up making frequent visits to the veterinary hospital, as his grandfather (Dr. Roy A. Riddels) was the original owner of the hospital, at the time named Riddels Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Grayson Riddels graduated from Sherman High School and went to Oklahoma State University for his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Business (Pre-Vet). After receiving his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Riddels attended and graduated from veterinary school at Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. His dream was always to graduate from veterinary school, come back to Sherman to work and learn under Dr. Lange and serve the Sherman community by providing high quality veterinary care – all which is he blessed to have done! He is married to Dr. Sam Riddels, with whom he has a son, daughter, dog, cat, and beta fish! Grayson’s veterinary interests include surgery, emergency medicine, and preventive medicine.

Dr. Sam Riddels was born in Oklahoma and has lived in Nevada, Mississippi, and is now proud to call Texas home! She received her bachelor’s degree in Animal & Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University. She then continued on to veterinary school at Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, where she met a charming and handsome 3rd year veterinary student named Grayson Riddels. They continued to date throughout veterinary school (with 2 years of long-distance!) until she graduated in 2015, when she was engaged to Dr. Riddels and moved to Sherman!
Dr. Sam worked at a private practice in Gainesville, TX before joining Dr. Riddels and Dr. Lange at Lange Veterinary Hospital in 2018. Dr. Sam’s veterinary interests include dentistry, dermatology, preventive medicine, and veterinary practice management.
